Weather Station

I have decided to set up a weather station to monitor and record data on temperature, wind speed and direction, rainfall, humidity and atmospheric pressure.  my aim being to collect data over a long period of time and try and see if there is a change in average temperature or rainfall due to climate change.

This will probably be difficult to see as these measurements are only being recorded in one location and other factors such as increased solar activity could also play a part but never the less it is something which interests me.

I am hoping to be able to have a live, realtime upload of current weather conditions to my website (click here), but I am not sure if this will be possible.  My weather station has been ordered and I await delivery.

My Blog

I am currently in my second year of study with the Open University, towards a degree in environmental science.  I am studying this subject purely out of interest and to learn about the impacts of global warming and other environmental problems.

During my studies I have published some of my assignments and projects on my website and I am constantly adding to the site as my studies continue, the link to my website ' Environmental Studies' can be found to the right of the page.

I would be interested in getting other peoples views on some of the subjects I write about and maybe begining a discussion on here!
