Tories cut community events

Boris Johnson has announced a massive cut to community events as part of his 'culture' strategy. It's not positioned like this. Cleverly, it's been (exclusively) given to the Guardian who, in return, focus on the fact that they are 'ditching hip hop for high culture' for young people.In fact, it looks like they are cutting all of the really important cultural events for minority groups. Apparently, Trafalgar Square is being 'over-used'.
It's so outrageous but so predictable from the Tories who really haven't changed and always cut funding from those who really need it. And I bet there's no strategy for even trying to get young black people listening to opera - just funding to reduce the ticket prices for typical Tory voters.
